Researcher experience after Masters: Industrial and Technological Development Fellow C (Cnpq: National Council for Scientific and Technological Development scholarship): The work of the INCT (National Institutes of Science and Technology) macroecology working group on Ecology, Evolution and Conservation of Biodiversity (EECBio) is based on the following lines of action: Improve the understanding of the relationship between ecological and evolutionary data and macro-scale theories; Integrate different hierarchical levels in ecology to investigate how ecological and evolutionary processes at basic levels propagate to macrecological scales; Fill the knowledge gaps on biodiversity; To extend the application of simulations and computationally intensive methods in macroecology; Investigate the geographical patterns of human influence on a macro scale on biodiversity.
